This year, on Tuesday, December 1, 2015, SDG is participating in #GivingTuesday, a global day dedicated to giving.  Last year, more than 30,000 organizations in 68 countries came together to celebrate #GivingTuesday! We invite you to join the movement and give generously. Your gift to SDG will help keep classical sacred music flowing for future generations.

The future of classical sacred music needs you.

SDG has a mission not only to preserve the sacred masterpieces of the past in recordings and concerts, but also to build new monuments of sacred music for our own time. Our catalog of commissions ranges from short, unaccompanied choral works to large choral-orchestral compositions, including works by four Pulitzer Prize-winning composers. Here are some samples of our activities in 2015:

You can be a part of creating musical milestones.

“Throughout the centuries, composers have relied on benefactors. Imagine if you were the one who helped support Handel when writing the Messiah. Through SDG, you have a tangible opportunity to encourage composers to write sacred music and impact the classical music world, perhaps for generations.”—Grammy Award-winning conductor, John Nelson, SDG Founding Artistic Director
