In October 2006, Soli Deo Gloria sponsored performances with the National Symphony Orchestra of Costa Rica, the National Symphony Chorus and the Cafe Chorale. Under the direction of John Nelson, the ensembles performed Giuseppe Verdi’s Four Sacred Pieces and Felix Mendelssohn’s Symphony No. 4, the “Italian Symphony.” This endeavor was made possible through generous support from the Strachan Foundation.
