This year's SDG Fall Gala was a hit! On Sunday, November 6th, the Chicago weather was glorious, allowing us to venture out on The Cliff Dwellers' terrace high above Michigan Avenue. The view was amazing, the guests enthusiatic, the food creative ... and the music, sublime.
Guest artist David Taylor, Assistant Concertmaster of the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, was masterfully accompanied by pianist Brian Lee, and together they offered Gala guests the heart-warming sounds of Cesar Franck's violin sonata.
The SDG Fall Gala continued its tradition of raising donations to benefit The Anita Nelson Fund, which sustains SDG Music Foundation as a visionary force creating classical sacred music for future generations.
We hope you will catch the flavor of the evening in these photos taken by SDG contributor Dr. Jeffrey Nelson, who loves to share his camera skills at SDG events.
