Gala to benefit The Anita Nelson Fund

SDG Fall Gala logo

SDG is holding its Second Annual Fall Gala on Saturday evening November 21, 2015, at the beautiful Cliff Dwellers on Michigan Avenue in Chicago. Sitting high above the city in a 22nd floor penthouse, the restaurant has jaw-dropping views of the lakefront, overlooking Millennium Park and the Art Institute of Chicago.  A perfect venue for an SDG gala!

Anita Nelson

This annual event is what ensures that SDG can continue creating classical sacred music for future generations. The Fall Gala benefits The Anita Nelson Fund, the sustaining fund of SDG, which is essential to SDG’s ability to operate behind the scenes. We have a rather humble office, and there aren’t many people working in it. But it is the engine that makes SDG happen: commissioning new music, arranging concert partnerships, and producing the monumental Chicago Bach Project.

The Gala program features Kayleen Sánchez, soprano, and Laudon Schuett, lutenist, performing a rich repertoire of Scottish and English lute songs from the 16th and 17th centuries.
